Serra High School mural - hand painted school mural graphics
I hand painted this a few years ago but I don't think I've featured it. Here’s the step-by-step progress on this project.
Serra High School in Gardena CA had a blank canvas at their football field ticket booth building, just waiting for these graphics!
The sign painting work started with hand painting the school name on the corrugated steel on top of the building… along with a base coat for the school seal on the concrete block building itself.
Here are some progress photos of the hand painted mural work for the school seal… to find a balance between detail and the client's needs the logo was painted for a minimum viewing distance of about 8-10 feet.
There was hand lettering to be done, as well. The school is well-known for its sports programs, so we hand painted the sports played on this field where they’ve won awards…
