SERIES - SOFI STADIUM HAND PAINTED MURALS - PACIFICO PATIO
Big City Signs got the call in early 2020 to look at providing hand painted background murals for sponsor signage. The murals / environmental graphics we painted enhanced the signage and helped create the environment that the brand was looking for.
This is fourth in a series.
Pacifico Beer created a bar location for themselves tucked into the north end of the stadium. The unique look for the bar would include wood grained PVC plastic along the back wall which we were to dress up with a bright but slightly aged looking graphic treatment.
Here’s what went into it.
We went into this one late in 2020. The PVC plastic was already installed, so we applied the appropriate primer.
Next, we would start painting.
First, we taped off the yellow and the blue colors, then primed. The white background would show through the colors, with a blue shadow on the lettering. The entire wall would then have a bit of paint “aging” to knock down the bright, new look.
Painted until we didn’t have anything to paint anymore! Here’s the final result…
You might be thinking about getting this kind of project done, Do you know where to start? I can tell you - contact me, Paul Borne (president of Big City Signs) to find out more.
