MEET OUR TIGER…
A member of the Big City Studios team is taking ou a more visible position in the company. Meet Thaddeus Leroy Tiger who you’ll see in our Big City Studio logo.
Thaddeus Leroy Tiger was born to bohemian parents, Lucielle and Thelonious, in the early 1950’s.
They loved the name Thaddeus, as he was one of Jesus’ disciples, but with great compassion knew a simpler name would be his preference, so they named him Leroy.
Leroy took a liking to sign painting way back in the era before computers. This was a wonderful time of hand painted advertising, bulletins, truck and van advertising, posters and showcards, and more. For a go-getter like Thaddeus, it was a wonderful time. You might remember the saying, “go get ‘em, Tiger”. Well, it was about him.
He came to Big City Studios in 1994 and felt right at home. He brought his wife Kitty with him too — it was as if she was his other brain. Together they painted the town, literally.
You can see Leroy’s creative talents in the many photos in our portfolio.
Leroy likes things to be orderly, he’s very detail oriented and professional in his work.
Now Thaddeus Leroy Tiger has taken on the role of Creative in Chief here at Big City Studios. Honestly, we pretty much all answer to him. He’s a kind boss, though.
